Our Mission:
West Coast Blitz is an organization dedicated to fostering growth and empowerment through sports, providing high school women with a dynamic platform for personal development, sportsmanship, and competitive play in the realm of flag football. Through the exhilarating experience of flag football, we aim to inspire confidence, instill a sense of accomplishment, and encourage the pursuit of excellence both on and off the field.
The Basics
There are two different “programs” that make up West Coast Blitz
Tournament Team Program
Our Tournament Team program is made up of players that have been selected through the tryout process each season. Spaces on the Tournament Teams are limited to 15 girls and the amount of teams run per season is dependent on talent and coach availability.
Tournament Teams compete in National competition and travel throughout the season to multiple tournaments. The season for 2026 is from January - June 30th. Practices are at a minimum twice a week for 2 hrs and additional zoom meetings for planning maybe involved.
The focus of the Tournament Team is to win and be competitive on a National Level!
Development Team Program
Our Development Team program is open to all girls that want to join the program ages 13+. In the Development Team Program the focus is on getting better at Flag Football and preparation for the upcoming High School Flag Football Season.
The Development Team competes in LOCAL competition only throughout the season. Which generally works out to about 3-5 competitions. The season for the 2026 Development Team is from March 22nd - June 30th. Practices are at a minimum twice a week for 2 hrs.
In addition to the local competitions, the Development team also participates in league play in Fairfield, CA in the spring.
